God sees my heart, my attitudes matter to Him.
Cain and Abel Part 1 The goal of this lesson is for children to understand that regardless of our public actions, God sees our hearts and our private actions. All of this matters to God. God saw that there was something in Cain that did not match the sacrifice he offered. When God accepted Abel’s offering, Cain did not learn by it, instead he was filled with anger. God does not intervene to prevent Cain’s anger but God warns him that ‘sin is crouching at his door’.
