Paul travels with his friend Silas. In Philippi, they encounter an enslaved woman who is possessed by an evil spirit and therefore can predict the future. Out of compassion with the woman, Paul commands the evil spirit to disappear from her. She feels then happy and free, but she lose their ability to predict the future. I don't like their owners and they complain to the Mayor about Paul and Silas. The two must therefore in jail and be whipped before. The prison warden is threatened that he will be killed if they flee.
In pain, Paul and his friend can not sleep at night. You start to sing and praise God. Then, there is an earthquake that destroyed the walls of the prison. The warden is desperate and sees that God is with them. He asks what he must do and receives the reply that he should believe in Jesus by Paul. The same night, his family is to Christians. He picks up the two and cares for their wounds. The Roman Governor for the maltreatment apologized the next day. Upon leaving the city, there is there even a small group of Christians.
