Jesus is always with us – even when we are sad, mad, bad or glad.

When we do good it is not so that other people will notice. We do it for God.

Unit 5 has 5 lessons to help children discover what it means to live as a child of the King of Kings. This unit focuses on what it means to Trust God in every situation of our lives.

It’s easy to feel hurt or jealous, but it’s not right to turn that into hatred and unforgiveness.

Lessons in Unit 4 of Living in the Kingdom focus on the Psalms to look at what God is like and how we can praise him for who He is and what he has done.

The coming of Jesus Christ the King has brought good news to ordinary people.

|
God knows who we really are. We don’t have to try to impress Him.

It’s easy to be nice to friends, but Jesus asks us to be good even to our enemies.

|
We can be truly happy regardless of outward conditions, if we value the things that God values.

|
To help the children not to seek revenge.

That it pleases God when we are honest and fair with other people and when we work together as a community.

God will never turn away anyone who comes to Him in true repentance.

Obey God because it’s the right thing even when it’s not the easy thing.

God invites all people to share in his heaven.

When I am in a situation that is terrible, I can call out to God for help and he will answer.

For the children to know that God is a loving and forgiving God who does hold our sins against us when we ask His forgiveness

When we feel in danger, we can turn to Jesus for help because He is able to help us.

The word of God can change our lives when we read it and obey it.
