The Cross of Demas

The Cross of Demas

This story is about one of the criminals crucified with Jesus. While the name of the criminal is unknown, the name 'Demas' has been given to him to personalise the story.

In Luke, only the conversation between Jesus and the criminal has been recorded. The story around that conversation aims to simply aid the imagination in what could have happened around the time of the story.

If you would like to translate this video, please follow the link to the Cross of Demas Script (page).

It could be assumed that 'Demas' was in prison previous to his crucifixion, and it is known with certainty that 'Demas' did go to heaven as Jesus had promised. The end of the video calls for a response to what Jesus has done for the world!
