Be encouraged! Pass it on!

Hello Max7 friends,

There is a great deal in our lives that is unsettled, unpredictable and possibly frightening. And with the pandemic, it just will not go away! How can we encourage children?

If we are still in lockdown, at the best children can only watch a little online programming, receive emails and letters, maybe a phone call.... They might be looking for strength to parents and carers who are just as unsettled as their own children.

This incredible resource Encouragement for Parents in Challenging Times, has been written for those leading families; parents, grandparents and carers to help encourage whole families in difficult times. It’s a month-long, family guidebook with activities, prayer and thoughts for all ages to go through and reflect together. A group of children’s ministry leaders wrote this when civil unrest broke out in their region during lock-down. Thanks for sharing!

Let’s not lose a Generation! This short video devotion is an encouragement to persist with our spiritual disciplines as we raise the next generation to know the Lord our God. Drop into Max7 and watch all 86 seconds now! Be encouraged!

This Family-Time ADVERSITY study is ideal for families to look at Joseph’s life and see how his response to God helped to shape him in very difficult and humiliating circumstances. Churches could modify this as a script for a Kid’s Church (online) presentation. It’s active learning to engage people of all ages and understanding.

Check Max7 for many other Family Time devotions and activities.
