As we learn about God’s creation of the world and the story of Noah and the flood, this unit looks at our relationship with God. He created and loves us. Unfortunately, we have rejected him and chosen sin over relationship with him. However, he still loves us and has planned a way to save us.
Lessons
1. God made the world (Genesis 1:1-25) God made the world and everything in it
2. God made me (Genesis 1:26-31; 2:18-25) God made us and loves us very much.
3. Sin enters the world (Genesis 2:8-17; 3:1-24) People disobey God and are separated from Him
4. Noah obeys God (Genesis 6:1 – 7:9) People’s sin becomes very bad, but Noah obeys God
5. God deals with sin (Genesis 7:10 – 9:17) God punishes sin but saves those who follow Him.
