In this session, we will understand Jesus’ command to take the gospel to ALL peoples (all genders, ages, religions, abilities, languages, sexual orientations, and nations) and strategies to help in this challenging task.
What does the Gospel “to ALL PEOPLE” mean? Jesus commanded us to connect to ALL people. He wants us to connect with those who are very different from us, not simply all who are like us or near us. We may have hesitations and fears, but God will provide opportunities and equip us.
How do we CONNECT intentionally with different people? Connecting to people different from you doesn’t come naturally to most of us. Be willing to adapt to different cultures and circumstances to reach people with the gospel. Be flexible and culturally sensitive when sharing the Gospel
How can we ENGAGE different people with the Gospel? Conversations start with something simple or common and then move to more serious talk (Personal). The next step is to bring in a Spiritual conversation and finish with something Scriptural. Begin with prayer and humility. Utilize the ReadySetGO Toolkit's strategies. Use the 4 S's (Simple, Serious, Spiritual, and Scriptural) to effectively share the gospel message.
