The Hebrew Slave

This is part of a series of historical fiction based on true stories from the Bible. The aim is to think about what the events narrated in the Bible could have been like. It explores themes like death, persecution, life as a child being a slave in wartime, and faithful compassion.

It follows the story of Chloe, a slave in the household of an enemy general, Naaman. She shares the hope of a cure for his leprosy, and brings this great man face-to-face with the goodness of God.

This could be for children around 7 to 13 years old to read. A wider age-group of listeners would enjoy the story and be able to respond to the questions when guided by an older leader or family member.
