Max7
for people of ALL abilities

for people of ALL abilities

Hello Max7 users,

Thank you to all the people who wrote back with prayer requests for their Youth and Action Sports ministries. We're praying for you!

This week we are looking at some resources that support inclusion of children and youth with various ability challenges. Sometimes this is called "all ability" or "special needs" or "disabled". Everyone needs to hear the good news, and everyone can share about Jesus in some way. Jesus' ministry included people of all ages with all levels of ability.

Share Fate's story of being included in a local sports camp in Ethiopia, and how it changed her whole family!

This guide book, while focussed on including children of all abilities in KidsGames, is a helpful tool for creating a more inclusive environment for any Children's or Youth activity program - The All Ability Games Guide.

Did you know that more than 70% of families with disabled children don't attend church because of the issues they have with acceptance and accessibility?

This guide for children with Special Needs has been on Max7 for nearly 10 years. Thousands of ministry co-ordinators have found it helpful. If you would like to start making your ministry more inclusive, download this guide for some helpful definitions and starting points.

If you have created resources for people with different abilities, would you share them on Max7? How can we help you share the resources you've made?

Have a great week - welcome everyone whom Jesus welcomes!

Jane- for the Max7 team.
